In this post I have two cards to share, that I made to enter into the following challenges:

Here are the two cards I made:
The inspiration to make cakes for these cards with layers in dark and light tones of the same color, came from this post on Glory's blog about sweet treats. I used three shades each of pink and green copic markers to add solid color onto some scraps of white cardstock. I then stamped the cake layers on top, and cut them out. I made some mini top folding cards, stamped the sentiment and added the cakes. After finishing, I thought the cakes looked a bit bare, so I added a star on the green and a heart on the pink. I colored those with the same shades of green and pink as the bottom cake layers.
